Let’s worship God together and focus on being Keepers of His Kingdom! In October we’re focusing on Forgiveness vs. Unforgiveness. God always calls us to forgive! Colossians 3:13 “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Thursdays: OCS Prayer Connection
Parents, come pray for each other and for OCS! 8am in the OCS Chapel/Music Room above the office. Let’s seek the Lord together!
Picture Retakes: Friday!
For any new students and those who may have missed Picture Day in September.
School pictures will be returned any day, but if you attended picture day and desire a retake because you are unsatisfied with your child’s picture, please send a note with your child by Oct. 11 with specific information on what you’re dissatisfied about in the picture.
Help at Recess!
A HUGE thank-you to all of the parents who have helped at recess. We appreciate it and we NEED it! The more eyes the better!

Monthly Volunteer Needs
Would you rather volunteer to serve the OCS campus in ways that are behind the scenes? We have opportunities to serve on a monthly basis!
Cleaning filters on classroom heat pumps
Washing walls/windows/deep cleaning classrooms
Mowing/weed eating on campus
We had some wonderful parent volunteers help us all day on Friday with various tasks around campus, including Pizza Friday - THANK YOU!
Welcome, PTC Officers!
We had a wonderful PTC Meeting last Monday evening. A huge thank-you to all of the parents that showed up to be part of PTC this year! Save the date to attend next month’s meeting (Nov. 6).

Sees Candy Fundraiser
It’s that time of year again!
Order forms will be coming home soon! This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! Last year, in our See’s fundraiser OCS students/families raised $10,552.96 toward paving the OCS Parking Lot!
Let’s raise even more this year!

Mon., Nov. 6: K-12th Grade Early Release at 11am for Parent/Teacher Conferences. NO AFTERSCHOOL BASK THIS DAY!
Tues., Nov. 7: K-8th Grade Early Release at 11am for Parent/Teacher Conferences. NO AFTER SCHOOL BASK THIS DAY! High School has a normal school day 8am-2:35pm.
Fri., Nov. 10: NO SCHOOL - Veteran’s Day Observed
Nov. 22: PreK-12th grade Thanksgiving Chapel @ Independent Bible Church 9am-10am/10:30am. School will be dismissed immediately after chapel.
Nov. 23-24: NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving Break
